曹光彪書院於本月十日晚舉辦了名為“小小工程師”之書院活動。本次活動以“紙承重”為主題,參與的同學自行設計,利用紙及膠帶進行搭建與固定,使結構承受最大的重量。

本次活動分為六個小組,每個小組由三名成員組成。主持人講解規則後,小組成員共同合作,設計與搭建集穩固與創意一體的承重結構。最終能承受最多瓶裝水的作品獲得“最佳承重獎”,而經過各組互評選出“最具創意獎”。

本次活動在緊張的期中考試期間為同學們提供了舒緩心情、釋放壓力的空間。同學在前期的準備過程中更加瞭解工程力學相關知識。一次簡單的紙承重活動,讓大家看到了二十張紙都能承受巨大重量。這正如大家的日常,樂於團結他人不懼挑戰,巧妙面對壓力處理問題,積極尋找方法解決困難,就能釋放出巨大潛能,展現完全不同的自己。

CKPC held an activity named “Little Engineers” on November 10. This activity focused on “paper load-bearing”. Participants designed a structure, which can bear as much weight as possible and built it with paper and tape.

Participants get into six groups, with three members each. Participants worked together to design and build a stable and creative load-bearing structure. The “Best Load-Bearing Award” was given to the group whose structure can support the greatest number of bottle water, while the “Most Creative Award” was given based on votes.

This activity allowed students to release stress and relax during their busy mid-term period. In the preparation process, the students learned more about engineering mechanics. It was a simple activity, but let the students unite others without fear of challenges, face stress and handle problems bravely, as well as actively find ways to solve difficulties, so that they could release their huge potential talents.
