In the first phase, we plan to organize students to prepare all the related materials. Instructions with detailed steps will be printed out to every group. Also, some RAs will teach students, especially for those foreign students carefully, to make rice dumplings. In the second phase, we plan to invite students to cook the rice dumplings in multi-function room. Students can share the dumplings they made themselves when  enjoying the moon.

Objectives:

1. To celebrate the Lantern festival and recognize its culture importance. (RC core competence of cultural engagement)
2. To enhance cohesion of college students. (RC living experience of peer and communication education)

This is an art making activity by dying the Indigo colour onto a piece of handkerchief. The whole process needs participants to create their own art work and through this activity, students may learn how to be more creative with the nature resources without polluting the environment. Tutor will teach the students how to beautify by using color to print on unwanted things.

Description: CKPC has a newly remodeled kitchen with sufficient equipment to hold small scale workshops. In this series of hands-on workshops, experienced volunteer chefs from UM faculty’s family member or invited guest will teach students how to bake a healthy, simple meal.  Students will observe the instructor, then follow the instructions to create the dish.

Objectives of Activity: 

• To learn how to use available kitchen equipments and the proper cookware for baking (Healthy Living)
• To learn how to select fresh and nutritious ingredients and follow instructions in preparing the dish (Healthy Living)
• To provide an opportunity for students to successfully reproduce a dish and work with the student team at CKPC’s Infinite Coffee shop to market the product (Teamwork)

【澳門日報消息】“方大曾校園行”講座——《尋找方大曾》日前於澳門大學舉行，中國中央電視台高級編輯馮雪松講述戰地記者方大曾的傳奇人生，以及分享其攝製隊在尋找方大曾過程中的感人故事。

首報盧溝橋事變方大曾是《大公報》特聘戰地記者，盧溝橋事變報道第一人，但他在一九三七年九月三十日發表署名小方的《平漢線北段的變化》的通訊後便消失了。

馮雪松通過查閱地方誌、訪問知情人，踏遍他在保定、石家莊、太原、大同、蠡縣的足跡拍攝了專題片《尋找方大曾》，從碎片信息中還原方大曾生平事跡。

多方面講述事跡講座上，馮雪松以“尋找方大曾”為主題，向師生展示了許多珍貴的歷史照片，同時生動地從“方大曾是誰”、“關注民生的攝影師”、“一個人的綏遠之行” 、“消失的戰地足跡”、“我們的尋找”等方面重現了方大曾的人生和家國情懷。

華東師範大學光華書院是2017年成立的本科生住宿制書院，由華東師範大學數學科學學院、物理與材料科學學院、化學與分子工程學院、生命科學學院、資訊科學技術學院等五個學院的本科生組成，2017級學生中有7位來自澳門特區的學生。

作為新成立的書院，光華書院仍在摸索如何提高2000院生的凝聚力，打破習慣性的隔閡，和提高院生參與書院活動的主動性。

其中由粵、港、澳三方組織的交流團一行約170人計劃於本年7月12至14日期間參訪澳門。現擬向　貴校租借宿舍，以作為訪問團在澳居住之所。有關租用資料初定如下：

第一場，即歐洲場，參與人數最多。同學交換的國家包括葡萄牙、法國、瑞士。他們就選擇學校、衣食住行、文化參與等多方面的經驗和樂趣作了分享。其餘兩場分別是美洲和亞洲。

In the first three weeks of September, CKPC students organized three sessions of College Roundtable.  They invited 14 senior students to share their experiences as exchange students living and studying abroad.  The three sessions attracted nearly 150 students, among them 70% were freshmen.

The first session was about exchange to Europe, including countries such as Portugal, France, and Switzerland.  The student guests talked about their school selection, everyday life, and cultural experience.  The other two sessions were about exchanges to America and Asia.

曹光彪書院於9月份在書院“廚神作坊”舉辦了10場健康美食烹飪班，每星期教做一道美食，並分享相關的文化背景，吸引了近150人次參加，每星期一開始報名時，都出現“秒殺”狀況，不少慢報的同學，只能被放在等候名單。

菜色中最有趣的莫過於法國薄餅，連來自波蘭的交換生也做得興高采烈。其他特色菜的包括: 薯蓉馬介休（健康版本）、甜菜根藜麥沙拉（創新系列）、和烤紅豆糕（中西合璧）。同學們幾乎都是第一次接觸這些菜色，蒙尼卡老師也順便介紹其文化背景，健康煮食方法，和使用廚神作坊的基本常識。

CKPC hosted 10 sessions of healthy cooking classes in September.  Each Wednesday and Saturday, about 15 students gathered in CKPC’s Master Kitchen to learn a new gourmet dish. Every Monday around noon, CKPC students rushed to sign up for the classes.  Some did it a bit late and were put on waiting list.

Among the dishes, the most popular one was French crepe, which drew great attention from all participants, including one exchange student from Poland.  Other selected dishes included: Salted Cod and Potato Casserole (Bacalhau à Zé do Pipo), beet quinoa salad with balsamic vinegar, and Baked Sweet Rice Cake with Red Bean Paste.  For nearly all participating students, it was their first time trying those dishes.  Teacher Monica also introduced some of the cultural background for the dishes, as well as healthy cooking style and basics on using the Master Kitchen.
