In early August, CKPC’s student leaders, including House Association (HA), Resident Tutor (RT), and Resident Assistants (RAs), returned to the college to participate in intensive training and prepared for orientation activities. The training includes team building, CKPC aspiration and RA tasks, experience sharing, and discussion. These activities built up the team spirit of the student leaders and made them well prepared for the orientation week.
During mass move-in, student leaders warmly received the freshmen and their parents. There were cheers and laughter at the reception from time to time. When Rector Song of UM and his party arrived, the parents applauded and all took pictures enthusiastically.
This year, the college also prepared the “Planet Encounter” background board, where Master Lau took pictures with freshmen. We also arranged an orientation gathering with CKPC’s international students (including exchange students). 8月初，書院的學生領袖（包括院生會HA、書院助教RT、和學生助理RA）回到書院，參加集中培訓和準備迎新活動。培訓內容包括在黑沙青年活動發展基地的團建，書院理念和RA任務，經驗分享與討論。今年也特別安排到澳門旅遊學院參觀和午餐，這些活動帶起學生領袖的團隊氣氛，為迎新做好了充分準備。
新生入宿兩天，學生領袖們無懼風雨，熱情洋溢地接待新鮮人和家長，接待處不時響起鼓聲、歡呼聲和笑聲。澳大宋校長一行到來時，在場家長掌聲起伏，大家踴躍拍照留念。
今年書院也特別準備了“行星初遇”背景板，院長跟新生打卡留念，新生則展現出陽光和活力。書院也特地為國際生（包括交換生）安排了簡單介紹茶聚。
