曹光彪書院戶外領袖冒險計劃第七期學生於2024年9月14日至15日在黑沙青年發展基地進行體驗教育助理引導員課程。本次課程由書院駐院導師鄭智明博士帶領,透過不同類型之體驗活動學習體驗教育基本理論、活動風險評估與管理、體驗活動之分類、團隊發展模式與、助理引導員的角色與4F反思原則,在促進學生的團隊合作與問題解決能力的同時,培養學生具有初步自我反思的習慣,帶入對人生的思考,讓學生對生命有更深刻的理解。

體驗教育是一種教學方式,通過直接、有目的、具體的學習體驗,促進參與者的學習。這類學習體驗具有身體投入、認知發展以及情意涉入等特徵。活動中,學生們參與了多項特別的挑戰,這些活動不僅考驗了他們的身體協調,領導與被領導及解決問題的能力,也促進了彼此之間的信任與合作。在兩天的時間裡,學生們逐漸熟悉彼此形成了一個緊密的集體。他們在面對挑戰時,互相關心與支持,共同解決問題,展現出良好的團隊精神和領導潛力。這次活動不僅增強學生的合作能力,也讓他們對自身的價值觀和目標有更深的理解。

本次體驗教育助理引導員課程,不僅僅是一次體適能的挑戰,更是心靈與思想的洗禮。學生們在鄭智明導師的引導下,獲得了寶貴的經驗與啟發,為未來的學習和生活奠定了堅實的基礎。課程結束及實習完成後學生還可申請香港歷奇輔導學會歷奇輔導初階證書與亞洲體驗教育學會助理引導員認證。曹光彪書院戶外領袖冒險計劃將繼續致力於提供多元且具有多重意義的學習體驗,幫助學生們成為具備社會責任感和領導能力的社會公民。

The seventh batch of Me To We Leadership Adventure Program (MTW) undertook an Experiential Assistant Facilitator course at the Hac Sa Youth Development Base on 14-15 September 2024. Led by Dr. Cheang Chi Meng, the instructor of MTW, the course includes the basic theories of education, the assessment and management of activity risks, the classification of experience activities, the team development model and the role of assistant facilitators and the 4F reflection principle through different types of experiential activities, while promoting students’ teamwork and problem-solving ability, cultivate students to have the habit of initial self-reflection, bring in thinking about life, and let students have a deeper understanding of life.

Experiential education is a teaching method that promotes participants’ learning through direct, purposeful, and concrete learning experiences. This type of learning experience is characterized by physical engagement, cognitive development, and affective involvement. During the activities, the students participated in several special challenges, which not only tested their physical coordination, and ability to lead and be led and solve problems but also fostered trust and cooperation between them. Over two days, the students gradually became acquainted and formed a close collective. In the face of challenges, they showed concern and support for each other, solved problems together, and displayed good team spirit and leadership potential. This activity not only strengthened the students’ ability to cooperate but also gave them a deeper understanding of their values and goals.

This experience is not only a physical challenge but also a spiritual and ideological cleansing. Under the guidance of instructor Cheang, the students, gained valuable experiences and inspirations, laying a solid foundation for their future studies and lives. At the end of the course and the completion of the internship, students can also apply for the Junior Certificate of Counseling of the Hong Kong Institute of Adventure Counseling and the Assistant Instructor of the Asian Association for Experiential Education. Me To We Leadership Adventure Program will continue to provide diverse and multi-meaning learning experiences to help students become socially responsible and leadership citizens.
