2024年4月11日，曹光彪書院聯合呂志和書院及澳門大學圖書館帶領書院同學參觀三所澳門大專院校的圖書館，分別為：澳門科技大學、澳門城市大學及聖若瑟大學。三所大學分別介紹了各自的藏書量，數目種類，圖書館的服務內容以及藏品等。在旅程中，澳門大學圖書館負責人向同學們介紹澳門高校之間的資源共享合作內容，更了解到澳大的學生可通過向澳大圖書館租借「借書證」在澳門各高校圖書館尋找所需的知識資源。
參與者們首先參觀擁有逾九百萬館藏的澳科大圖書館，從中參加者了解到澳科大圖書館實施的科技化管理措施。及後，參與者前往城市大學圖書館繼續參訪，了解圖書館的佈局及館藏資料。最後，參加者到聖若瑟大學圖書館，更加了解到與聖若瑟大學開辦學科與圖書館館藏分布的重要關係。
本次活動為參與者提供一個寶貴的機會走進其他澳門大專院校，了解其校園氛圍、 校園及圖書館特色，提升參與者對於閱讀文化的興趣及了解。
On April 11, 2024, the CKPC, in collaboration with the LCWC and the Library of the University of Macau, led students on a tour of three university libraries in Macau. The institutions included the Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST), the City University of Macau (CITYU), and the University of Saint Joseph (USJ). Each university showcased its extensive collection, variety of resources, library services, and special collections to the UM students.
During the journey, the head of the University of Macau Library introduced the students to the resource-sharing cooperation among Macau’s higher education institutions. Students learned that students at the University of Macau can obtain a “library card” to borrow resources from various libraries across Macau.
Participants first visited the Library of the Macau University of Science and Technology, which has a collection of over 9 million items, and learnt about the technological management measures implemented in the MUST Library. Afterwards, participants continued their visit to the Library of City University of Macau to learn more about the layout of the library and its collections. Finally, participants went to the Library of University of Saint Joseph to learn more about the important relationship between the subjects offered by University of Saint Joseph and the distribution of library collections.
This activity provided a valuable opportunity for the participants to visit other tertiary institutions in Macau, to learn about their campus atmosphere, campus and library features, and to enhance their interest in and understanding of reading culture.
