On April 20, 17 faculty members and students from Chao Kuang Piu College (CKPC) of the University of Macau visited the 2026 “National Security Education Exhibition.” This activity was part of the training for the college’s student leaders. Participating students included current and incoming resident assistants and house association board members. Through AI robot-guided narration, videos, models, and physical exhibits, they gained a multi‑faceted understanding of the exhibition’s theme:

“Coordinating Development and Security, Safeguarding the New Journey of the 15th Five‑Year Plan.” After the visit, the faculty and students expressed that they had gained a deeper understanding and appreciation of the connotation and importance of national security, and pledged to study diligently, act proactively, and contribute to the nation’s prosperity and development.

In the “AI for National Security” essay competition held alongside the exhibition, CKPC students performed outstandingly. Ms. Lu Liwei’s essay, titled “AI Safeguards National Security, Youth Forge Shields to Defend the Motherland,” won second prize, while Ms. Liu Zihan’s “Ruins of St. Paul’s Code” received an honorable mention.

In a joint meeting of outgoing and incoming student leaders, the college guided students to reflect on the importance of national security in the current international environment. Using the theme “A Peaceful and Prosperous Nation, a Stable Life for the People,” national security is deeply linked to the people’s stable lives, as well as to students’ future studies and development. The student leaders also watched together the first‑prize winning entry from a University of Macau student in the “AI for National Security” short video competition.

The outgoing and incoming student leaders also conducted a year‑end review and experience sharing. They will continue the tradition of passing on knowledge and experience, uphold the college’s spirit of “service and responsibility,” transform what they have learned and thought into concrete actions to serve their fellow students, and prepare for student work in the new academic year.
