2024年4月18日至21日,曹光彪書院Me to We戶外領袖冒險計劃的十餘名同學,參與由國際野外醫學協會(WMAI)舉辦的野外高級急救課程(WAFA),並全數通過嚴格考核取得認證資格。

為期四天的課程內容豐富且實用,涵蓋野外環境下的急救處置技巧,包括:創傷處理、環境急症應對、常見疾病管理及野外救援決策等。學員們不僅學習理論知識,更透過模擬情境演練,掌握在偏遠地區或資源有限環境中的急救能力,為未來的戶外探險及領袖活動奠定堅實的安全基礎。

此次培訓由國際認證導師指導,課程強調團隊協作與臨場應變,參與同學表現出色,展現了曹光彪書院學子積極進取、勇於挑戰的精神。完成課程的學員表示,此次學習不僅提升了個人急救技能,更強化了對戶外安全的責任感,未來將運用所學,為團隊及社區貢獻所長。

From April 18 to 21, 2024, eleven students from Chao Kuang Piu College’s Me to We Outdoor Leadership Adventure Program participated in the Wilderness Advanced First Aid (WAFA) course organized by the Wilderness Medical Associates International (WMAI). All participants successfully passed the rigorous assessment and earned their certifications.

The intensive four-day training covered essential wilderness medical skills, including trauma management, environmental emergencies, common field illnesses, and critical decision-making in remote settings. Through hands-on simulations and scenario-based learning, students developed the ability to provide effective first aid in resource-limited environments, strengthening their preparedness for future outdoor expeditions and leadership roles.

Led by internationally certified instructors, the course emphasized teamwork and adaptability. The participants demonstrated exceptional engagement, embodying Chao Kuang Piu College’s spirit of resilience and proactive learning. Many shared that the training not only enhanced their technical skills but also deepened their sense of responsibility toward outdoor safety and community service.
