親愛的院生,每年暑假退房時,都有大量個人物品(如衣物、廚具、單車,和暫存於公共空間物品)遭棄置,書院希望同學將準備丢棄的物品整理回收,為環保出一分力,愛護地球多一點。

分類回收箱設在W31-G051外。回收前,敬請同學做好基本清潔(特別是舊衣服及餐具等)。小家電器件必須在回收前清潔好,避免有食物殘渣、廢物、油脂、污水及昆蟲等。

在回收電子及電器設備之前,必須自行刪除裡面儲存媒體之所有機密及私人資料,包括但不限於個人資料。任何未被刪除之任何機密及私人資料,在任何情形下,本計劃概不負責。

在本回收計劃的基礎上,符合條件的物資,包括書籍、保質期一年以上的未開封非冷藏食物,生活用品(袋、書包、耳機、滑鼠、風筒等),將在下學年開始時放到書院「義」手市場作義賣物品,所獲收益將全數用於公益項目,例如書院義教團的教學物資。

 回收前處理步驟:

  1. 除去塑膠部分及拆除大件的金屬或塑膠釘裝
  2. 將不同種類的廢紙分開並紥好
  3. 保持乾爽
膠類 可回收:一般飲品膠樽、沐浴露樽、洗頭水樽、洗衣液樽、外賣餐盒(5號膠)等

不可回收:已受污染的膠類、盛裝石油產品(如汽車機油、潤滑油等)的樽、生油樽、膠手套、發泡膠盒等

回收前處理步驟:

  1. 把膠樽的樽蓋扭開及撕開膠樽的招紙,並分開收集
  2. 清空容器
  3. 簡單清洗
  4. 儘可能壓扁,增加運送效率
金屬 可回收:飲品罐、奶粉罐、月餅盒、金屬廚具等

不可回收:油漆罐、噴漆或殺蟲水瓶等

回收前處理步驟:

College Recycling Program

As students check out before the summer recess, a large number of personal belongings (such as clothes, kitchenware, books, and items temporarily stored in the common areas) are often discarded.

The College will set up recycling bins outside of W31-G051 for students to sort different items and put them in the bins for recycling. Please ensure that the recycled items are clean (especially old clothes and utensils). Small electrical equipment should be kept clean and tidy.

Please note that students are responsible for deleting all confidential and private data, including but not limited to personal information, from electronic and electrical equipment hardware and other storage media prior to recycling. This Program is not responsible for any confidential and personal data in any hardware that has not been removed under any circumstances.

Based on this recycling plan, eligible materials, including books, unopened non-refrigerated food with a shelf life of more than one year, and daily necessities (bags, schoolbags, headphones, computer mice, hair dryers, etc.) will be included in the College’s charity sales at the beginning of the next school year. All proceeds from the sales will go to charity projects, such as teaching materials for the College’s Volunteer Teaching Program.

Pre-recycling processing steps.
